Jauch Reinforces Battery Expertise

Batteries and Powersolutions GmbH set to become Jauch Battery Solutions GmbH

Jauch Quartz GmbH, specialist for battery solutions and frequency control components, will continue expanding its battery portfolio to include lithium solutions in particular: A nearly decade long partnership with Batteries and Power Solutions GmbH (BaPS) will now be strengthened through the rebranding of BaPS to Jauch Battery Solutions GmbH.

The two former general managers, Dr. Jürgen Heydecke and Dr. Manfred Leimkühler, will support national and international battery business at Jauch in their role as Technical Directors Battery Solutions. The proven experts in the area of lithium technology offer decades of international experience, reinforcing Jauch’s core competencies: Being a leading lithium specialist in the entire battery market.

In the future, Jauch will bundle this major gain in battery expertise in the form of the Jauch Battery Academy, among other things. The Battery Academy will present a training center focused on conveying a wide range of matters related to batteries to customers, partners and even employees. Experienced specialists Dr. Heydecke and Dr. Leimkühler, both holding PhDs in chemistry, will work with battery experts from Jauch to share their know-how as part of one-day and multiple-day seminars: from basic to expert knowledge, handling and transporting batteries and elaborate certifications for different industries, just to name a few topics.

Besides expanding the project management and key account teams, Jauch will also continue driving battery technology growth at its subsidiaries in the USA, Great Britain and France with the support of the two directors.
