At the beginning of the year, Jauch introduced the JOx21 series of differential oscillators in a compact 2.0 x 1.6 mm SMD package. The portfolio has now been expanded to include the larger JOx22 (2.5 x 2.0 mm) design.
Both series deliver exceptionally low phase jitter of up to 40 fs rms typical (at 156.25 MHz). This means that the temporal fluctuations (i.e., the “jitter”) of the clock signal are extremely low. The lower the jitter, the more stable and precise the clock signal. This is particularly important for high-speed data transmission, as even minor fluctuations can result in errors. The oscillators also feature frequency stability up to ±50 ppm – characteristics that are highly valued by developers in the age of 5G, expanding data centers and ever-increasing data rates.

All oscillators in Jauch's JOx21 and JOx22 series offer:
These features ensure the oscillators meet the demanding requirements of modern high-speed systems, providing reliable clock distribution, stable data transmission, and maximum signal integrity in complex, data-intensive applications such as 5G infrastructure, data centers, network technology, industrial and embedded systems, and optical transmission.
