Manager of the Year: Daniel Panzini Nominated Again

Last year, the German trade magazine "Markt & Technik" named Daniel Panzini, head of the battery division and member of the board of directors at Jauch Quartz GmbH, "Manager of the Year". Panzini finds himself once again among the nominees.

It takes a lot to win a title – but defending it is even harder. However, it seems Daniel Panzini may do this. After the German trade magazine “Markt & Technik” named the director of the battery division at Jauch Quartz GmbH as “Manager of the Year” in 2018, Panzini finds himself among the list of nominees for the 2019 award.

There are multiple reasons for the renewed nomination in the category "Batteries & Battery Packaging". As the head of Jauch’s rapidly expanding battery department, Panzini was responsible for developing a battery assembly line with an integrated test center. Thanks to these developments, Jauch can provide customers with fully certified battery packs, specifically tailored to their applications.

Panzini, who was promoted to the Board of Directors in 2017, and his team can also look back at success in sales: Last October, the electronics giant Panasonic honored Jauch Quartz as one of the most successful sales partners in the battery segment with the title "Distributor of the Year 2018". A new project for 2019 is already underway: The newly founded Jauch-Battery Academy showcases the company's battery experts as they pass on their knowledge in different monthly modules.

Panzini has a very simple explanation for this success: "You will only find people in our team who are passionate about battery technology. We love what we do."  Panzini also recognizes his renewed nomination, noting, "Of course I am pleased that I am once again among the candidates for 'Manager of the Year'. But ultimately, this is a recognition for the performance of the entire team."

The "Manager of the Year" award is presented every year by the trade magazine "Markt & Technik" in a total of nine industry specific categories. The editorial staff of the trade magazine selects suitable candidates from each industry. In the subsequent online voting, the readers of the magazine choose their favorites from this selection.
