Jauch runs for a good cause

In July, the historic old town of Villingen, home to Jauch's headquarters, was transformed into a sporting arena as around 2,800 runners took part in the 19th “Stadtlauf” city run,- including a dedicated team from the Jauch Group.

Ten colleagues from various departments ran together for a good cause, completing a total of 54 laps of the 2.4 km course – that's almost 130 km! With over 15,000 laps completed in total, a new record was set.

The city run was all about social engagement: the €18,150 raised will go towards a new wheelchair-accessible vehicle for the Caritas Association's day care centers. “We are delighted to have been part of this fantastic initiative and to have made a contribution to the region through our participation,” said Eberhard Heiser, member of the Jauch management and himself one of the “Jauch Runners.”

For Jauch, participating in the city run is not only a sporting highlight, but also an expression of the company's corporate identity: taking responsibility – for its employees, for society, and for the local community.
