Sodium-ion batteries represent a more environmentally friendly option compared to conventional battery technologies available on the market. The extraction of sodium interferes far less with sensitive ecosystems, significantly reducing environmental impact. Additionally, sodium-ion batteries are easier to recycle, further improving their overall environmental footprint.

They also provide a long service life of 8,000–10,000 cycles and feature high charging and discharging efficiency, making them a sustainable and economical solution for various applications.

Sodium-ion batteries are characterized by highly reliable temperature performance. At low temperatures down to –40 °C, they can be used more easily and deliver higher capacity. Even at elevated temperatures up to +60 °C, sodium-ion batteries exhibit greater stability compared to lithium batteries and are less susceptible to overheating. This is due to sodium’s lower reactivity, making these batteries a very safe choice.

Even under extreme temperature conditions, sodium-ion batteries allow for fast charging and high discharge currents. This makes them particularly suitable for applications with dynamic power requirements.
