Sustainability at Jauch

Sustainability is important to us and is deeply rooted in our corporate DNA. For us, acting sustainably is more than an obligation — it’s an opportunity and a promise for a better future. That’s why we combine economic success with a respectful approach to all relevant resources and stakeholders. We are already setting the course for tomorrow—for ourselves, our company, and the environment.

As a globally operating company, we recognise that our actions have a worldwide impact. Therefore, we take responsibility across the entire supply chain and consistently align our business with sustainable principles.

Our ESG Strategy: Three Pillars

Our sustainability strategy is based on the internationally recognized ESG concept, which consists of three pillars: Environment, Social, and Governance. These three areas form the framework for our sustainable actions:

  • Environment: Climate protection, resource management, and ecological innovations
  • Social: Responsibility for employees and society, and respect for labor and human rights
  • Governance: Value-based leadership, ethics, compliance, and transparency

What Does Sustainability Mean To Us?

For us, sustainability means combining economic success with responsibility for people and the planet, contributing to long-lasting, viable systems. Through a comprehensive double materiality analysis, we worked closely with our key stakeholders—including employees, suppliers, customers, and investors—to identify the most important sustainability issues for Jauch.

The result is a set of key focus topics that form the core of our sustainability strategy. These priorities cover the areas of environment, social, and governance, and shape our goals and actions in sustainability management.

To illustrate this, we have compiled an overview of our ESG focus topics and some of our initiatives. These focus topics are aligned with international objectives and standards, such as the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. By focusing on ESG, we ensure that we have identified the essential levers for our sustainable actions and that our efforts are targeted where we can make the greatest impact.

Sustainably Successful: Awards & Commitments

Our progress so far shows that we are on the right path. In January 2025, the Jauch Group was awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal. EcoVadis is the world’s leading platform for assessing corporate sustainability performance, evaluating areas such  as environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The award places us among the top 15 % of all companies assessed - a success that clearly highlights our commitment to sustainability. This recognition makes us proud and motivates us to continue working enthusiastically toward a sustainable future.

In July 2025, we joined the United Nations Global Compact. By doing so, we officially committed to integrating the UN’s ten universal sustainability principles into our business processes. These include protecting human rights, upholding labor standards, safeguarding the environment, and combating corruption. We are pleased to display the “We support the UN Global Compact” seal on our website, demonstrating our commitment to responsible business practices.

Transparency is important to us. Although, as a medium-sized company, we are not subject to the CSRD reporting requirement, we will voluntarily publish an annual sustainability report in line with the VSME (Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for SMEs) starting in 2026. In this report, we will document our progress and goals across the ESG areas. This voluntary reporting follows recognized frameworks, such as the German Sustainability Code, and demonstrates our commitment to acting openly and credibly toward all stakeholders.

For business partners and investors, this means experiencing Jauch as a reliable, transparent partner who makes sustainability measurable. For ourselves, it serves as an incentive to continuously improve.

Sustainability in Action: Projects & Initiatives

At Jauch, sustainability is not just a theory - it's a lived reality. Concrete initiatives demonstrate how we put our ESG goals into practice.

We make sustainability at Jauch tangible. Every step, whether big or small, contributes to this effort. For us, sustainable actions are not a burdensome obligation, but a second nature - and an opportunity. Sustainability drives innovation and helps us optimize processes, reduce costs, and unlock new business opportunities.

Our journey shows that we are continuously developing our sustainability management. We regularly set new goals and review our progress. This transformation will continue, driven by our commitment to align economic success with ecological and social progress.

Climate-Neutral Future

We are increasingly relying on renewable energy and energy efficiency. Today, we already source 100% green electricity at our headquarters and have significantly reduced our gas consumption through more efficient technology.

In addition, we are investing in an electrified company fleet: by 2030, most of our company vehicles will be converted to electric. This will reduce fleet emissions by more than 60%. All of these measures bring us closer to our ambitious Net Zero goal of becoming climate neutral by 2045. Every step counts along the way.

Employee Development & Social Commitment

Our employees are the key to our success, which is why we invest heavily in their well-being and ongoing development. We have introduced a comprehensive training program that ranges from professional courses to health workshops.

We also foster a culture of dialogue and participation: regular employee surveys and workshops help us gather feedback and generate ideas on how we can improve further. We take our society responsibility seriously: starting in 2026, the Jauch Foundation will begin its work. This charitable foundation - currently being established - will primarily support regional science and social projects. Moreover, it will offer our employees opportunities to engage in volunteer work. In this way, we combine business success with social value.

Responsible Corporate Governance

We have taken important steps to ensure responsible corporate governance and uphold our high ethical standards. Since 2024, a company-wide Code of Conduct has been in place, establishing clear rules for ethical behavior, including anti-corruption, fair competition, data protection, and more.
All employees participate in regular compliance training. We have also introduced a new whistleblower system that allows anonymous reporting of potential misconduct. In addition, we conduct risk analyses with our key suppliers to ensure that our values are upheld throughout the supply chain.
These measures strengthen the trust of our customers and investors, minimize risks, and support the long-term stability and development of our company.

Added Value for Our Customers, Applicants, and Investors

Sustainability is not an end in itself. At Jauch, our sustainability strategy creates real value for all our stakeholders.
Sustainability at Jauch means taking responsibility: — for our customers, our employees, and society. By firmly embedding environmental protection, social responsibility, and good corporate governance into everything we do, we ensure that Jauch remains successful today and in the future.

For Our Customers

Sustainability means security and future viability. Our customers can rely on Jauch products being manufactured to high environmental and social standards. Our sustainable supply chain, verified through certificates and audits, minimizes risks. We are a dependable partner for long-term, successful business relationships.

For Our Applicants & Employees

We offer a value-driven work environment where sustainability is part of everyday life. This includes fair working conditions, equal opportunities, and personal development. Health programs, bike leasing for eco-friendly mobility, and similar sustainable benefits are a matter of course for us.
Those who become part of Jauch can be proud to work for a company that takes responsibility seriously — and actively contribute to our sustainability initiatives.

For Investors & Partners

Thanks to our comprehensive ESG management — that ranges from our compliance system to supplier audits — we reduce reputational and liability risks. In the future, our voluntary reports in line with the VSME standard will also support transparency regarding our sustainability metrics.
Moreover, our investors value that we proactively meet requirements that may become standard in the future. In short: Sustainability builds trust and supports the long-term value of our company.
