How Do We Keep Up-to-Date with the Technical Advancements of the World of Tomorrow?

electronica, the world’s leading trade fair for electronics, will get to the bottom of this question from 13th to 16th November 2018 in Munich, Germany. electronica is the place to go to see what components, systems or applications make new developments possible.

As one of 3,000 exhibitors, Jauch Quartz GmbH from Villingen-Schwenningen will present their pioneering products in the fields of frequency control products and battery solutions. Founded in 1954 as a supplier for the Black Forest Watch industry, Jauch precisely meets the needs of current times with their product portfolio and the ability to supply customers globally. “In order to keep pace with innovation and progress, for example in the medical technology, automation, safety technology or measuring technology, a precise clock and a reliable energy source are required”, only then, according to Steffen Fritz, head of sales frequency products, can the important steps towards an innovative future be taken.

Lithium-polymer has established itself in recent years as the leading battery chemistry for self-sufficient power sources. Lithium-polymer batteries can be delivered with their very high energy density in almost every imaginable battery sizes. This is a crucial criterion in the development of a battery-powered product. Lithium-polymer batteries from Jauch are certified according to UL 1642 and ensure the safety of the battery in almost all situations. “With this chemistry, Jauch is clearly keeping up with the pulse of progress,” says Timo Schmidt, head of the battery solutions department.

Networked applications, such as products controlled by radio, play an increasingly important role in everyday lives. Whether it’s for networked smoke detectors, electricity, gas/water meters or the centre console of an automobile – frequency control products from Jauch provide reliable and highly precise timing devices for all applications.

In order to illustrate the importance of both products as frequency and energy sources for applications in different industries, this year the Jauch Group is investing for the first time in an almost 200 sqm exhibition stand, where both products will showcase together.
