Join our battery development team at our corporate headquarters in Villingen-Schwenningen!

For the earliest possible date, we are looking for a

DEVELOPER FOR BATTERY-MANAGEMENT-SYSTEMS (M/F/D)

Duties will include:

  • Conceptualization, planning and realization of development projects for battery management systems (BMS) in close cooperation with project management and engineering
  • Development and programming of operating and control strategies of battery systems
  • Development of safety concepts for the interaction between BMS and overall system
  • Development of circuit designs based on requirement and functional specifications, taking into account costs and producibility
  • Advancement of existing circuits for use in new projects.
  • Design and programming of Texas Instruments BQ-series, e.g. BQ40z50-R1, BQ27542-G1, etc.
  • Perform system, module, and integration testing for the battery control unit.
  • Documentation and analysis of test results and corresponding reporting to the project manager
  • Analysis and documentation of errors
  • Communication and cooperation with international electronics and battery manufacturers

The ideal candidate:

  • Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, communications engineering, technical computer science or a comparable education
  • Experience in analog and digital circuit design and software control
  • Relevant experience in embedded programming, preferably C or C++
  • Experience with microcontroller programming (DAVE) and bus systems helpful
  • Technical and intercultural competences
  • Flexibility to contribute to an international organization with international business partners
  • Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
  • Readiness to travel, communication skills, an indepedent way of working and the willingness to take on responsbility complete your profile
