The start of an apprenticeship<\/a> is an exciting time, full of new impressions, challenges, and opportunities for professional and personal development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are Vivienne, Max, and Lucia, we are in the second year of our training, and we would like to give you an insight into our daily training routine at Jauch<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

An\nexciting beginning<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For the\nthree of us, this exciting time at Jauch began last September.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were all\nwelcomed in a friendly and reassuring way on our first day, which eased some of\nour nerves. After a short round of introductions, the onboarding started,\nduring which we were given basic information about the company and an overview\nof the various departments. <\/p>\n\n\n

We then\neach met our buddy in the first department. Our buddies accompany and support\nus during the training. This helped us to settle in quickly and better\nunderstand the processes in the individual departments. During our tour of the\nbuilding, we got to know our colleagues from the other areas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Knowledge\ntransfer and safety: Product training and briefings<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One\nimportant element was the product training, where we gained insights into\nbattery and quartz technology. Here we were able to see which functions the\nproducts fulfill and where they are used. It\u2019s fascinating to find out how our\ncomponents are manufactured and the importance they have in the industry. Both\nproduct divisions involve a lot of technology, but they are still very\ninteresting, even for \u201cnon-technicians\u201d. This training laid the foundation for\nour understanding of the products and how they work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Data protection\ntraining was also covered at an early stage, since trainees come into contact\nwith both internal and external data on a daily basis. A safety briefing in the\narea of logistics rounded off the basic training in the first few weeks.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Particular\nhighlights of our training <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our\ntraining is characterized by certain highlights that make it unique and\ninstructive. One of these highlights is the departmental tour, where we have\nthe opportunity to get to know not only our commercial departments, but also\nthe areas of logistics, production, and quality assurance.  Working independently allows us to identify\nour interests and strengths more clearly. During our training, we have the\nopportunity to set a focus and work longer in our preferred department. This\ngives us a close look at the tasks and processes of the department and enables\nus to gain even deeper insights. <\/p>\n\n\n

“I noticed right away that I enjoyed working in the project team. Some of my colleagues soon realized this and asked me if I would like to join the team. My responsibilities include the American market, I will be spending a lot of time working with and supporting colleagues in America.” Maximilian <\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n

\"Lucia<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n

Another\nhighlight of our training is the time spent abroad at our subsidiaries. This\nallows us to gain international experience and get an insight into the working\nculture of other countries. Two of us have already had the opportunity to visit\nour subsidiaries in France and the UK. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vivienne,\nfor example, had the task of supporting colleagues in France with the decision\nto implement a tool that we use in JQG. In addition to introducing this tool,\nshe helped her colleagues with their day-to-day work. This helps our personal\ndevelopment a lot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I got to know a different side of myself and became more confident and open,” Vivienne said.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Expressing\nideas and preferences openly <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We also\nhave the chance to express ourselves creatively and we have launched a trainee\nand student project in this context. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of\nthe project, we got together and brainstormed ideas to organize something\nspecial for our Jauch team. Our idea was welcomed by the management. So we are\ncurrently in the planning stage for a small Christmas market. All proceeds from\nthe Christmas sale will then be donated to social projects\/organizations. (more\ninfo to follow) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trainee\nproject allows us to work creatively and independently. It also strengthens the\ncohesion and team spirit among the trainees and students.<\/p>\n\n\n

Conclusion<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our\ntraining period so far has been marked by many instructive experiences,\npositive encounters, and a lot of fun. \u201cThe varied tasks, the opportunity to\ndevelop creatively, and the support from the team have made our training\nunforgettable,\u201d concludes Lucia. <\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
